Troubleshooting
Nothing appears: Ensure the projection box actually intersects scene geometry in the chosen direction and within max distance.
Collider feels too big: Enable Alpha Mask to trim transparent regions; reduce collider quality if needed.
Too many triangles: Lower mesh quality, shrink the box, or trim via alpha.
Performance spikes on spawn: Pre-pool decals and reuse; measure with the built-in profiler to find safe settings.
Text or sprite not appearing: Ensure at least one projection ray hits a surface, or the object will remain unprojected by design (v1.1.2+ behavior).
Collider not generated: If the generated mesh is invalid or zero-volume, the collider is safely disabled to prevent PhysX crashes.
WebGL build errors: Ensure you are using Decal Collider v1.0.3 or newer.
